OUR PATRON - CRAIG REVEL HORWOOD

Internationally renowned performer, choreographer, and television personality Craig Revel Horwood is proud to serve as Patron of Ballarat Lyric Theatre. Born and professionally trained in Ballarat, Craig’s early career included standout roles in West Side Story, La Cage aux Folles, and Me and My Girl, alongside television appearances and national commercial work.
After moving to Europe, Craig performed at the Lido de Paris and Moulin Rouge, before joining the UK tour of Cats. He later appeared in West End productions of Cats, Miss Saigon, and Crazy for You, with international engagements that took him across the USA, South Africa, and Germany. His career has spanned the globe as a performer, director, and choreographer.
Best known to many as a long-standing judge on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Craig remains a passionate supporter of Ballarat Lyric Theatre — generously lending his name, time, and encouragement to our work over many years.
